Nantucket Is Bliss

The Voice Of The Sea Speaks To The Soul

Enjoying every last drop of summer while it lasts.  Before we know it, it will be time for cozy sweaters, booties, and cider flavored everything.  Not saying that is a bad thing!

Want to know a secret? I am actually wearing this Marine Striped Sweater [link] backwards.  Sshhh.. but isn't it too cute with the V-neck? Two for one ladies, can't beat it.

This top [link] is light enough for the end of summer heat, but perfect for a cool evening paired with some skinnies.  The fluttery bottom adds airiness and lightness. AND THEN, once fall really hits, you can put on a crisp collared button down, roll up the sleeves, keep the V in the front or back, and you're ready to go.

Heading to a Nantucket dinner at Straight Wharf, I wanted to wear my stripes.  Knowing I wouldn't have much time between the beach and din, I pulled this out o the closet to come with.  The best part, it didn't wrinkle at all!

I love the beach. And when you have a mile of empty white sand to yourself, parked car on the beach, and a portable grill, there's not much more you can ask for!

There are 3 main lighthouses to see in Nantucket. Two are must-do's for your first time on the island:  Sankaty and Great Point.  Getting to Great Point Lighthouse is the most incredible (and frightening) drive.  A must-do! At the end of the island you will not be disappointed.  The beach will be desolate, most likely all yours except for the seals if you're lucky enough to be there when they are.

Love me some Femme for saving the beach day!

Check out my last blog post [link] to see pics of Sankaty Lighthouse.  All I was missing was some Sankaty Light Cisco Beer :)
